In your GamerProfile.xml file in \My Games\Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon\ folder make sure in your section that you are NOT adding or modifying anything except or otherwise some stuff will not work. If you are interested in removing Parallax from roads, this mod includes this within it! If you wish to disable it.
2. This Steam Forums discussion says that a workaround is to press the Alt key to bring up the map legend, and then again to return to the map (which should now work). I can't verify this, because I haven't seen the glitch again since I discovered the workaround. Share. Improve this answer.

If you only have 2 speaker the voice audio maybe trying to come out the center speaker which you do not have. If there are any settings in the FC2 options menu for sound, rarely much in todays games compared to PC games 10 years ago, you might find an console option for 2 speaker instead of surround.
Streaming from Windows 8.1 to OS X. I'm trying to get Far Cry 3 to stream but can't get a working mouse. I can see the skinned cursor on the screen in the centre, but doesn't respond. I've tried a wired mouse, Wireless MS mouse and the trackpad with no luck. Keyboard works fine and audio/video is no problem.
I have made the upgrade to Windows 10, and I noticed that when I launch Far Cry 3, I only have about 13 minutes before the game crashes. No matter what, every time I launch it, it crashes. I have tried reinstalling it muliple times, setting Steam. Uplay, Far Cry 3, and Ubisoft Game Launcher to Windows 8 and 7 compatibility mode, and running all of the listed programs as administrator. Nothing
Apples and potatoes mate, Fallout is a game about largely making your own character, your own story, and your own decisions along the way. Far Cry is most certainly not. And the "top mods" don't remove voice acting. One mod does, a fairly popular one, but the actual list of top mods is very diverse . 5.

The one thing that is really starting to bug me and take away from the immersion of the game is how often the NPCs start to randomly shake and stutter. It looks ridiculous and is mad annoying. It literally looks like the NPC is having the worlds worst siezure and happens pretty frequently. Changing the in-game menu language. Hi, I'm probably not the only one who has this problem. My in-game menu's are all in my native language, but being a typical 'gamer' who wants to experience games 'as they were intended', I'd like to change this to English. There is an option that allows you to change the subtitles, that one works. Heres how >>> START >> Run>>> type in> dxdiag.exe > go to the SOUND tab > at the bottom theres a thing called hardware sound accerlation level > move down to the second to last one (basic accerlation) and then voila !!! (It worked on ,mine BTW ) BUT WARNING i did this 4 gta SA to NO accerlation and then the sound starts to go in 2 other game
The intro cutscene sounds normal, and not like the video I posted above. - Update your audio drivers. - In the audio device properties, go to Advanced and change to 16-bit 48000Hz (DVD Quality), apply & restart PC. Then switch back to the default setting (24-bit 48000Hz), again apply and reboot.
Playing FC6 in Spanish is more immersive. Far Cry 6. It was bugging me that everyone on Yara clearly spoke Spanish as a first language, and for some unexplained reason were speaking accented English with a little Spanish peppered in for flair. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and added Spanish (Latin American) as an additional language
